Lynn Corrigan
President

|
Lynn
Corrigan, CHRP, was the Human Resources Manager for Capers Community
Markets from 1989 until February 2008. She left to build her HR
Consulting practice, specializing in providing HR support and
development for companies either developing or clarifying their
mission, vision, or values and seeking to bring them alive in their
day to day functioning. Prior to her role with Capers, Lynn worked with smaller companies and
non-profits in Vancouver and in Kelowna,
providing OD consulting and training. She has been an ISPI member for
four years.

Carol Ann Fried
VP Membership

|
Carol Ann Fried, Empress of Friedom Training Services, is passionate and
committed to bringing playfulness and laughter into the workplace.
She is best known for helping people discover their JoySpot™.
Carol Ann has been a professional speaker, facilitator and
consultant with business, education, health, government, technology
and the helping professions for over twenty-five years. She is a
master trainer and motivational keynote speaker.
Carol Ann obtained her M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University
in Montreal.
She received her B.A. (Honours) in three areas of study: Psychology,
Sociology and Romance Languages from Dalhousie
University in Nova Scotia.
She has enjoyed faculty appointments at McGill University
and the University
of British Columbia,
where she taught graduate students in Counselling Psychology.
Frequently
interviewed for radio, television and newspapers, Carol Ann is the
proud recipient of the coveted second prize in CBC Radio's
world-famous answering machine contest. Her latest creative foray is
into the world of improvisational theatre, where she is co-founder
and performs with Vancouver Playback Theatre Troupe. Frequently
seen eating jalapeno potato chips dipped in low-fat yoghurt, she
absolutely adores Galiano Island,
singing harmony and pets of any kind, especially dogs.
Born and raised in Halifax,
Carol Ann lived for fourteen years in Montreal,
and has been in Vancouver
since 1986. Carol Ann exudes a natural creativity of mind and
spirit that stimulates a motivational learning experience. Her sessions
are invariably hailed as practical, dynamic and fun.

Erica Groschler
Past-president

|
Erica Groschler, MA, Educational
Technology brings fifteen
years of experience working with organizations to help improve human
performance in the workplace. Erica has made working with people and
organizations the focus of her career and she is playing a key role
in helping companies define and develop their culture and high
performance capability.
She is a past
Principal of an organizational effectiveness and change management
firm, past Director, Western Canada of Harold D. Stolovitch & Associates and currently is
the founder and President of TPS Consulting Ltd.
Erica brings
vast industry experience, having worked with healthcare,
transportation, automotive, high technology, real estate, banking,
metallurgy, government, non profit, and utilities. She has worked
successfully on large-scale initiatives internationally for Fortune
500 clients, including developing capabilities of front-line
employees and management and in some cases, working with the
intricacies of unionized environments. Underscoring all these
functions is what Erica sees as her most critical role –
“culture keeper and
catalyst”. “I have always attached importance
to taking care of the health, learning and development of people and
helping to identify what the organization and its people need to
prosper,” says Groschler. “ My goal is to ensure we create a sense of
urgency and respond to the client’s needs to create high
performance and develop individual and organizational
capability.”
Erica is known
for her enthusiastic approach and her commitment to ensuring
appropriate resources, tools and training are integrated to ensure
individuals can perform optimally in their jobs. She is passionate
about supporting her clients in facilitating authentic communication,
stronger and more vibrant teams and overall, higher work performance.
Erica has worked with companies such as Alcan, BC Hydro, BC Lottery, Creo, Cominco, Fraser Health Authority, Pivotal,
Sun Microsystems, Business Development Bank of Canada,
CP Railway, BC Ferries, Worker’s Compensation Board, TELUS,
Prudential Real Estate and the Ministry of Children and Family
Services.
Erica holds a
Masters degree in Educational Technology (Concordia, Montreal)
and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations (McGill University). She is also Myers
Briggs qualified. She is President Elect of ISPI and Past VP
Programs for BC's Organizational Development Network.

Gary Harper
VP Programs

|
Gary
Harper, through Harper and Associates, has been working with the
"people side of organizations" by providing conflict
resolution and communication training, facilitation and mediation
services.
Gary is a trainer, writer,
speaker and facilitator who recently authored The Joy of Conflict
Resolution. His workshops and presentations offer accessible,
practical concepts and strategies to understand and resolve conflict.

Cheryl Milner
VP
Special Events

|
Cheryl
Milner has 17 years of training and development experience working as
a consultant for a variety of industries including automotive,
transportation, academic and high tech industries. She has developed
her consultancy practice primarily in developing e-Learning projects,
but is often drawn to various workplace performance challenges as
they arise.
Ms. Milner is an accomplished instructional designer and possesses a
Master's degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University.
Cheryl currently is the VP of Special Events for the International
Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), is a member of New MediaBC and has provided her professional
expertise to a variety of local and national voluntary organizations.

Kathryn Potter
VP Communications

|
Kathryn
is a communications professional who has applied her skills in the corporate
training environment for more than 15 years at companies such as
Thompson Professional Publishing, Pivotal Corporation, and now Kodak
Graphic Communications Canada (formerly Creo).
Previous to
that she was a reporter and researcher. Kathryn studied theatre
production, has Bachelors degree in English, a graduate diploma in
journalism and is a certified online facilitator. Her current focus
is developing and implementing traditional and e-learning training
programs.

Inge Zegel
VP Logistics

|
Inge Zegel is a
facilitator and coach focusing on personal and productivity skills.
For the past four years she has been facilitating the Priority
Management "Working Smart" series of email and workload
management programs and coaching clients on effective workload
management skills.
Inge has close to 20 years experience as a
training, training development and technical communications
consultant and has worked with companies such as JDS Uniphase,
Pivotal Corporation, Creo Products,
Motorola, MPR Teltech, Nortel, MDI, and BC
Hydro.
Considering
herself a bit of a Luddite, but with a knack for technology, she
works closely with companies and individuals to help people become
more effective, feel less stressed, and gain
a stronger sense of accomplishment through effective works habits and
by optimizing the technology available in the workplace today.
Inge has a Diploma in Adult
Education and has studied Organizational Development and Leadership
at BCIT.
