The Topic: Evaluating Adult Learning - How to Figure Out What They Really Know, Without Tears

If a single soil sample requires over 50 different measures to evaluate accurately, how can we possibly evaluate human learning - ever? For the intrepid, this workshop lays the issues on the table: multiple purposes,
politics, perspectives, and traps in evaluating adult learning.

What will you learn?

Join us and you will be involved in activities showing:

  • How to develop criteria and rubrics for assessing criteria
  • How to involve learners themselves in dynamic evaluation processes
  • How to focus your evaluation on learning (not programs)

Bring your own issues of evaluating adult learning: we will spend time addressing these, too, in dialogue about practical strategies for your situation.
