On September 13th, we will kick off our fall events with Dr. Roberta Neault, CCC, RRP, who will speak on Emerging Skills for HR/OD Professionals.

Corporate environments have changed drastically over the past 20 years. Human Resource and Organizational Development professionals are faced with several resulting challenges, including:

  • Skyrocketing stress-related illness and disability costs
  • Difficulty retaining good employees
  • Significant decreases in employee engagement

In our current knowledge economy within a global workplace, organizations need to attract and retain top talent. HR professionals are tasked with ensuring that their employees have more reasons to stay than to leave. Organizations providing enhanced HR services-such as career management, performance coaching, leadership development, succession planning, and learning management-are reaping a return on investment by building (and retaining) a talented and productive workforce.

Join us for this evening with Dr. Roberta Neault and leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of the impact of local, national, and global influences on employee recruitment, retention, and engagement
  • Specific possibilities for enhanced employee services that focus on career management, coaching, and fostering learning opportunities and result in measurable performance improvement and other key returns on investment
  • Tips to ignite employee performance by aligning individual purpose and passion with organizational vision and strategic plan
Dr. Roberta Neault, is a counselor, educator, keynote speaker, and author of numerous articles and resources on topics related to career management and work-life balance. She speaks to and works with local, national, and international audiences. Roberta taught for many years in the Faculty of Business at SFU and was recipient of the 2002 Stu Conger Award for Leadership in Career Development and Career Counselling in Canada. Whether she is working with individuals, governments, universities, or corporations, Roberta's mission remains constant. She strives to empower others to positively and proactively manage their career and life changes to achieve excellence in life and work.
