MAKING
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COUNT - LESSONS FROM THE PURSUIT OF A RETURN ON INVESTMENT
PRESENTER:
IAN COOK TUESDAY, MARCH 14, 2006
 March
14 , 2006 Ian Cook
| | On
March 14th our speaker will be Ian
Cook who will speak on Making
Leadership Development Count - Lessons from the Pursuit of a Return On Investment. Business
pressures have led to an increasing investment in the development of leadership
talent. With this investment comes increasing pressure to know that the money
is delivering tangible returns. All this pressure focuses on the providers of
leadership learning and coaching. How
do we use this pressure to take leadership development to the next level and really
make it count? Drawing
on research, years of practice and a lot of hard thinking Ian will engage the
audience in answering the question above. Through an interactive combination of
stories, insight and activity we will look beyond ROI and build an exciting picture
of the future for leadership learning. The
session explores the value and costs of our current approaches to leadership learning
and from an analysis of the returns from current practice presents ideas and techniques
for taking leadership learning to the next level. Participants
should come prepared to engage in a challenging and thought provoking session. | | | | | | | | | Ian
Cook's
career has been a pursuit of excellence in the design, delivery and measurement
of leadership learning. He has extensive experience of developing leadership for
organizations large and small, from North American and Europe including several
Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. Ian
has an MA and MBA and is qualified in the MBTI, EQ-i, Team Management Profile,
CCL 360 suite and is a UK Certified Training Practitioner. |
