Organizations are increasingly adopting
sustainability and environmental impact as performance
measure. As an internal or external performance improvement
practitioner, you'll likely be called upon for strategies to
reduce the corporate footprint.
This highly interactive session will look at
the impact climate change is having and will continue to
have on the workplace, examine the implications and
opportunities that are likely to emerge for organizations
and present positive strategies for dealing with the new
reality. Attendees will have an exclusive preview of
The Nature Challenge at Work, the David Suzuki Foundation’s
practical program designed to help organizations become more
environmentally sustainable.
By the
end of this session, you will have learned:
-
How the changes
in the physical environment are likely to impact businesses in BC and Canada
- The consequences of adapting, or not adapting to the likely
future physical and related business environment
-
What can be done
strategically and operationally by business to respond to climate change so they
continue to succeed while reducing their environmental footprint
- The practical program to be launched by the David Suzuki
Foundation that will help all types of businesses and other organizations become
more environmentally sustainable.
